Rooted in Purpose
It began with a phone call in 2007 — a friend’s cancer diagnosis that sparked something bigger.
In the early 2000s, our founders noticed brands would “go pink” each October, then return to business as usual. It raised a simple question: what if giving back wasn’t a campaign, but a core value? Co-founder Jake Kloberdanz took that idea to heart. Alongside fellow co-founders, he began sourcing wine from Napa and Sonoma and selling it in Southern California, planting the first seeds of ONEHOPE. What started as a grassroots effort grew into an award-winning wine brand rooted in connection, generosity, and purpose. As the mission expanded, so did the vision: to create a home where purpose-driven hospitality and world-class winemaking could come together. That vision became Estate 8, our Napa Valley home, vineyard, and winery, and the next chapter of ONEHOPE. More than a destination, Estate 8 brings our mission to life through meaningful gatherings, exceptional wines, and experiences designed to make an impact. Today, ONEHOPE is one of the largest direct-to-consumer wineries in the world, with more than $11 million donated to causes locally and globally — one glass, one gathering, one cause at a time.
Planting Roots in Napa Valley
In 2014, we turned to our community to crowdfund a vineyard on the iconic Rutherford Bench — planting our roots in one of the world’s most revered wine regions.
With a vested winery permit and architectural plans by the renowned Howard Backen, we broke ground in 2018. By 2020, ONEHOPE Winery opened its doors — welcoming those who believe in a more meaningful way forward.
Winemaking
Our wines begin in some of the world’s most celebrated vineyards, sourced from premier appellations across Napa, Sonoma, and beyond.
Under the direction of Head Winemaker Isadora Frias, alongside consulting winemaker Philippe Melka, each vintage is guided by meticulous craftsmanship and an uncompromising standard of quality — from vine to bottle — to express balance, depth, and character.
The result is a portfolio of remarkable wines, each defined by precision, depth, and a true sense of place.

Through the ONEHOPE Foundation, we support organizations addressing some of the world’s most pressing needs — from health and hunger to clean water and education.
As our impact evolves, so does our focus. Today, we’re investing deeply in education, helping provide millions of dollars in school supplies to underserved communities and opening the door to greater opportunity.
