Our Story
Rooted in Purpose
It began with a phone call in 2007 — a friend’s cancer diagnosis that sparked something bigger.
In the early 2000s, our founders noticed brands would “go pink” each October, then return to business as usual. It raised a simple question: what if giving back wasn’t a campaign, but a core value?
Co-founder Jake Kloberdanz took that idea to heart. With fellow co-founders, he began sourcing wine from Napa and Sonoma and selling it in Southern California — planting the first seeds of ONEHOPE.
As the mission grew, so did the wine, evolving into an award-winning portfolio crafted with purpose and care. What started as a grassroots effort became a movement — one glass, one gathering, one purpose at a time.
Today, ONEHOPE is one of the largest direct-to-consumer wineries in the world, with over $11 million donated to causes locally and globally.
Planting Roots in Napa Valley
In 2014, we turned to our community to crowdfund a vineyard on the iconic Rutherford Bench — planting our roots in one of the world’s most revered wine regions.
With a vested winery permit and architectural plans by the renowned Howard Backen, we broke ground in 2018. By 2020, ONEHOPE Winery opened its doors — welcoming those who believe in a more meaningful way forward.

Through the ONEHOPE Foundation, we support organizations addressing some of the world’s most pressing needs — from health and hunger to clean water and education.
As our impact evolves, so does our focus. Today, we’re investing deeply in education, helping provide millions of dollars in school supplies to underserved communities and opening the door to greater opportunity.
