Consistent heat and abundant sunlight, along with extended hang time until October, led to a bold, balanced, and special wine. This area is known for its unique terroir with warm days and cool nights on the valley floor. The well-drained soil is composed of gravel, loam, and sand with volcanic deposits and marine sediments from the Franciscan Assemblage. Fermented in a stainless steel tank and aged in French and American Oak for 20 months, this wine bursts with notes of black cherry, black currant, cocoa powder, and vanilla bean.
