The 2022 vintage had below-average rainfall in Sonoma County and a few events worth mentioning. In April, a moderate frost event impacted shoot growth but with moderate spring temperatures, they had time to recuperate. High winds during bloom time resulted in low yield for most of the vineyards in the Russian River Valley. The early ripening of our vineyard site in this particular year, allowed us to harvest our clusters before the Labor Day heat spike in which temperatures reached 105F for multiple consecutive days, producing a red fruit driven wine.

The cool Russian River Valley in Sonoma County grows some of the most elegant and sophisticated Pinot Noir. Flavorful cherry and black raspberry are coupled by earthy forest aromas and classic spearmint. The mouthfeel is etherial and velvety in texture as it melts into a soft finish.
