Rooted in Rutherford

In 2014, ONEHOPE took a defining step forward with the purchase of its Rutherford estate — establishing a home for the brand in the heart of Napa Valley and planting deeper roots in wine country.

What began as a purpose-driven wine company evolved into something more immersive: a place where wine, hospitality, and meaningful connection could come together. Today, Estate 8 represents that evolution — a place where world-class wines, thoughtful hospitality, and beautifully curated experiences come together among the storied vineyards of Rutherford.

From intimate tastings to milestone celebrations, every visit connects people to each other, to Napa Valley, and to moments worth savoring. At Estate 8, every experience begins with three guiding principles: Land. Table. Time.

Land — respect for what surrounds us. Table — spaces made to bring people together. Time — the most meaningful things take it.

Connected to the landscape at every turn

From sweeping views of the Mayacamas to warm, gathering-driven interiors, Estate 8 was designed to invite conversation and connection. The winery by Howard Backen and residential spaces by David Rulon and Jacques Lesec reflect a shared philosophy of understated Napa Valley elegance.

Throughout the estate, interiors curated by Megan Robinson Kloberdanz bring together natural textures, sustainably sourced materials, and timeless details that feel elevated yet welcoming — each space created with intention.

Shaped by the rhythms of the land

Organically farmed vineyards surround the property, while culinary gardens provide seasonal ingredients for winery experiences and gatherings throughout the year. Native pollinator gardens and on-site beekeeping support the ecosystem and supply estate honey used across our culinary program.

From cut flower gardens to vineyard rows, every part of the estate reflects the beauty, abundance, and agricultural spirit of Napa Valley.

Stewardship, woven through everything

From responsibly sourced building materials to innovative environmental systems, sustainability guides how we build, farm, and host. A first-of-its-kind wastewater reclamation system in Napa Valley lets us reclaim 100% of the water used on property while our solar program offsets 100% of the estate’s electricity consumption.

These efforts reflect a long-term commitment to caring for the land thoughtfully — preserving its beauty and vitality for generations to come.
